In addition to weather reasons, such as rains and strong sun, which can adversely affect plants, I would like to consider the general rules for planting and cultivating cucumbers. Of course, no one can control the weather, but we can protect the cucumbers from drying out or death.
Cucumbers are a very delicate and sensitive plant, so its planting should be carried out correctly. You should not allow the planting of cucumbers in an area that is subject to strong winds and is in the shade. Immediately after planting the seeds of cucumbers, it is better not to irrigate for a while: so the seeds will have enough air to germinate, and the soil will not be able to form a crust that appears after watering.
It is important to understand that the root system of cucumbers is very close to the soil surface, so sometimes cucumbers dry up because the roots cannot supply the plant with enough moisture. As soon as the first ovaries appear, watering should be carried out more often - daily, and it is the root that needs to be watered. Where the daily temperature exceeds 25 degrees, shoots need sprinkling - irrigation from a watering can of plant leaves. The procedures are performed exclusively in the morning or in the evening, otherwise the leaves that get drops of water will get burned and stained. Cucumbers dry up: what if the cause is pests and diseases?

Cucumbers dry up - but the reasons are not established
There is another reason why cucumbers dry up for no apparent reason. This is insufficient pollination. If hybrid varieties were chosen for planting, it is important to understand that they mainly form female flowers. It is necessary to plant cucumbers with male flowers nearby and provide access for insects. Pollination can be done independently, picking a male flower and bringing it to the female.
